SEVEN
is the number of Charity and Grace
This
design is open to two interpretations. The first is the Menorah,
a seven branched candlestick used in the Jewish temple which is
symbolic of the tree of life. In Roman Catholic and Eastern Churches
seven represents the sacraments: baptism, penance, confirmation,
the Eucharist, holy orders, matrimony and extreme unction. The
design also contains the ziggurat or seven stepped ladder to heaven
as used by the Babylonians in Mesopotamia
